Figur 1 zeigt ein tragbares Schuhputzgerät 1, bei dem in einem Gehäuse 11 ein Elektromotor 2 angeordnet ist. Der Elektromotor 2 wird von einem Akkumulator 3 (oder auch Batteriefach 3) mit elektrischer Energie versorgt. Der Elektromotor 2 ist mit einem Getriebe 4 verbunden, das seinerseits an eine biegsame Welle 6 gekoppelt ist. Die biegsame Welle überträgt die von dem Elektromotor erzeugte Drehbewegung auf eine Bürste 7, die mit einer Welle 9 in einer Aufnahme 10 und Lager 8 gehaltert ist. Die Welle 9 ist dabei als Sechskant ausgebildet.
