Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé mis en oeuvre dans le cadre d'un procédé d'abattage d'animaux, l'animal étant immobilisé, acheminé et débité, qui permet d'enlever les poils de l'animal avant son acheminement. Le procédé comprend les étapes consistant à mettre en contact une substance dépilatoire des poils de l'animal à partir d'un moment prédéterminé et à enlever les poils en dirigeant la substance dépilatoire sous pression vers l'animal. Dans un mode de réalisation de cette invention, la substance dépilatoire utilisée est le sulfure de sodium. La présente invention concerne également un système ou dispositif permettant la réalisation de certaines étapes ou de toutes les étapes dudit procédé.
