Abstract

L'invention concerne des procédés de sélection et de clonage qui sont efficaces pour la multiplication sélective d'animaux spécifiques (par exemple, bétail). On peut ainsi étendre une population d'animaux, et l'intérêt particulier réside dans la duplication sur la base des caractéristiques mesurées après la mort de tel ou tel animal. Selon certaines variantes, on décrit des techniques utiles pour la sélection d'un bovin spécifique (par exemple, veau mâle châtré), au moins à partir d'une caractéristique de carcasse mesurable. L'invention concerne également des techniques de clonage spécifiques qui font intervenir des cycles répétitifs (par exemple, deux) de clonage, du type clonage par transfert nucléaire. Selon des variantes spécifiques, on décrit un système de clonage en deux étapes: le donneur nucléaire du premier cycle est une cellule fibroblastique adulte et le donneur nucléaire du second cycle est une cellule fibroblastique foetale recueillie sur un foetus à partir du premier cycle.
