Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un système permettant de distribuer un flot de données multimédia sur un réseau d'information à une pluralité de clients, lesquels sont caractérisés de manière collective en ce qu'ils possèdent des capacités de ressource hétérogènes, en vue de maximiser la qualité et l'efficacité de la télédiffusion multimédia pour chacun de la pluralité de clients. Plus spécifiquement, la qualité multimédia est ajustée de manière dynamique à chaque client sur la base d'un paramètre métrique de ressource et d'un paramètre de profile de qualité.
