Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de produire des homopolymères ou des copolymères éthyléniques en plusieurs étapes, ce procédé comprenant au moins une étape de polymérisation en phase liquide (a) et une étape de polymérisation en phase gazeuse (b), lesquelles peuvent se dérouler dans n'importe quel ordre. Selon ce procédé, la polymérisation s'effectue en présence d'un catalyseur de chrome. Dans un mode de réalisation de cette invention, les masses molaires et/ou les vitesses d'écoulement à chaud des homopolymères ou des copolymères éthyléniques produits au cours des étapes (a) et (b) sont essentiellement identiques.
