Abstract

The present invention provides a polynucleotide (PLACC) isolated from a placenta which identifies and encodes a novel human chemokine. The invention provides methods and compositions relating to expression vectors and host cells comprising the nucleic acid sequence encoding PLACC. Further, the invention provides uses of PLACC peptide related compositions in the therapeutic intervention diseases. The invention also describes use of PLACC related compositions in diagnostic applications.
