Abstract

The invention relates to a device used for therapy and for exercising joints, muscles and the sensitivity thereof for strengthening the joints, especially for strengthening the rotator cuff of the shoulder joint. The exercising device is fastened on a vertical plane (8) with two parallel bars (12, 12'). The inventive exercising device (1) is especially characterized in that the swivel arm (2) can be brought into any individual spatial position so that it can be optimally adapted to the required conditions of the respective ailing part of the body and that additionally a tractive and compressive load can continuously and/or alternately act upon the joints.
