Abstract

Gel organosols dispersions, and high solids color inks based upon these dispersions, featuring a carrier liquid having a Kauri-Butanol number less than 30 and a covalently crosslinked copolymeric steric stabilizer covalently bonded to a thermoplastic (co)polymeric core that is insoluble in the carrier liquid. The steric stabilizer comprises the reaction product of a monomer mixture comprising no greater than 2 % by weight of a crosslinking monomer having a functionality of two or more.
