Abstract

A zinc-containing powder and its method of manufacture. At least a portion of the zinc-containing powder has a particle size distribution of about -250 Tyler mesh. The apparent density of the powder may be greater than about 2.9 g/cm3. The zinc-containing powder is more uniform in shape and more spherical, and has less surface roughness than conventional powders.
