  • the upper trunk and neck portions include a first section integral with a first arm portion and a second section integral with a second arm portion, the first section being hinged at one side of said upper trunk section and having an opening to pass the second arm portion therethrough and extending around, including underneath the second arm portion.

  • the free edge 24, together with the upper trunk section 16 are drawn away from the second arm by stretching the wetsuit material, which being usually in the nature of neoprene which is elastic in nature, and as shown in Figure 1, the body access opening 15 is exposed to allow, with some stretching, body access down into the interior of the wetsuit .

  • two draw cords may be provided, one attached at one end of the sleeve and the other to the other end of the sleeve, with the free ends of the cords extending through the exit aperture 30 and thereafter through the locking device 31.
  • the two draw cords would be operable in the same manner described above in relation to a single looped draw cord.
  • the wetsuit without the zippers described is therefore easily accessible, whilst at the same time provides a water seal between the upper trunk and neck section 16 and 14 which has proven to be more effective than known wetsuits without zippers, including those referred to previously in the discussion of the background art.

Abstract

L'invention concerne une combinaison de plongée (10) sans fermeture-éclair, comportant un tronc (11) pourvu de jambes (12) solidaires. Le tronc (11) comporte une partie tronc supérieure (16) et une partie encolure supérieure (14). La partie tronc supérieure (16) est solidaire d'un premier bras (13a) et comporte une ouverture (17) pour la tête, tandis que la partie encolure supérieure (14) est solidaire d'un second bras (13b). La partie tronc supérieure (16) recouvre la partie encolure supérieure (14) et comporte un bord libre (24) adjacent au second bras. Ce bord libre (24) est doté d'une gaine (25) définissant un trajet pour un cordonnet de traction (27) situé le long de ladite gaine (25) et fixé aux extrémités de cette dernière. Ainsi, lorsqu'on tire une partie du cordonnet (27) hors de la gaine (25), le bord libre (24) de la partie tronc supérieure (16), ainsi que la partie tronc supérieure (16) elle-même, se superposent fermement et de façon étanche à la partie encolure supérieure (14) sous-jacente.
