Abstract

L'invention se rapporte à un procédé de localisation d'une cible et d'établissement de la communication avec ladite cible qui est associée à un localisateur de ressources universel (URL). Ledit procédé est mis en oeuvre au moyen d'un support d'instructions exploitable par ordinateur et comporte les étapes suivantes: un utilisateur entre une série d'indices dans le champ adresse d'un explorateur d'Internet; une partie au moins de ces indices est comparée à des points d'entrée d'une base de données; une recherche est effectuée dans une base de données dans le but d'établir une corrélation entre la séries d'indices et des termes d'usage courant de la base de données; un terme d'usage courant qui possède une adresse URL associée est localisé dans la base de données; l'adresse URL associée est transférée vers l'explorateur d'Internet.
