Abstract

L'invention concerne des séquences d'acides nucléiques codant pour des protéines qui interviennent dans la prolifération cellulaire de E. coli. Ces acides nucléiques peuvent être utilisés pour exprimer des protéines ou des parties de celles-ci, afin de produire des anticorps capables de se lier spécifiquement aux protéines exprimées, et d'utiliser lesdites protéines exprimées comme crible pour isoler des molécules candidates pour des programmes de découverte de médicaments rationnels. Lesdits acides nucléiques peuvent également être utilisés pour cribler des gènes homologues nécessaires à la prolifération cellulaire dans des micro-organisme autres que E. coli. Les acides nucléiques peuvent, en outre, être utilisés pour concevoir des vecteurs d'expression et des vecteurs de sécrétion. Ils sont également utilisés dans différents systèmes d'analyse afin de cribler des gènes de prolifération requis dans d'autres organismes et pour cribler des agents antimicrobiens.
