Abstract

The present application relates to a method and system for changing the state of a connection (66, 67) in a telephone network. According to the method, the state of the connection is made changeable by means of control commands entered from a subscriber terminal (66, 67, 64). According to the invention, a control command received from said subscriber terminal (66, 67, 64) is used for controlling an intelligent network trigger that sets a predetermined state associated with the telephone connection of said terminal (66, 67) into an active or passive state as desired.
