Abstract

Cette invention se rapporte à un procédé de commande d'une unité de stockage (101, 205, 405) capable de stocker des transmissions sous la forme de signaux audio/vidéo transmis à partir d'un émetteur via un premier canal de communication (105) à des moments spécifiques, les informations, par exemple celles relatives aux heures de transmission, étant reçues via un second canal de communication électronique (105) pour l'identification des transmissions, ces informations étant mémorisées dans une mémoire (201). A cet effet, l'utilisateur sélectionne, au moyen d'une interface utilisateur électronique (501, 601), les transmissions qui doivent être mémorisées, et les heures des transmissions sélectionnées sont identifiées et utilisées pour commander l'unité de stockage (101, 205, 405). Ce procédé permet plus spécifiquement la commande automatique du moment auquel un magnétoscope vidéo doit passer en mode enregistrement. A cet effet, l'utilisateur indique les transmissions qu'il désire stocker sur un échéancier de programmes électronique (501, 601) et, grâce au procédé de cette invention, le magnétoscope vidéo enregistre les transmissions ainsi indiquées. Cette invention se rapporte également à un appareil de commande d'une unité de stockage (101, 205, 405).
