Abstract

Procédé de génération et de vérification de documents protégés (12) sur lesquels sont imprimés des symboles lisibles par machine (28) représentant des paramètres physiques du document protégé avant l'application sur celui-ci de repères faits à la main ou imprimés par machine, des repères faits à la main et/ou imprimés par machine apparaissant sur ceux-ci, des éléments de biométrie (empreintes digitales ou numériques) et l'historique des mouvements. Dans un autre mode de réalisation, un procédé d'imagerie ou de production de filigranes en deux étapes, capture une image du repère au sein d'une zone définie par un revêtement à ultraviolets (30), produit un topogramme binaire et code ce dernier et/ou un dérivé de celui-ci sous forme de symboles lisibles par machine qui sont ensuite imprimés sur le document protégé (12). La vérification intrinsèque du document protégé (12) s'effectue par la comparaison des mesures physiques réelles et des balayages du document protégé avec le contenu d'information des symboles lisibles par machine apparaissant sur le document protégé. La vérification extrinsèque du document protégé s'effectue par la comparaison du contenu d'information résident des bases de données locales et/ou éloignées concernant ledit document ou son transfert avec le contenu d'information des symboles lisibles par machine apparaissant sur ledit document.
