Abstract
La présente invention concerne une pince à biopsie souple permettant faire plusieurs prélèvements tissulaires. Cette pince présente un corps long souple définissant une lumière centrale, une extrémité proximale et une extrémité distale. Un bloc de commande est disposé au voisinage de l'extrémité proximale du corps souple. Un ensemble mâchoires est couplé à l'extrémité distale. Un actionneur de mâchoires est monté entre le bloc de commande et l'ensemble mâchoires. L'ensemble mâchoires comprend une paire de mâchoires pivotant entre une position ouverte et une position fermée en réaction au mouvement de l'actionneur de mâchoires tendant à entourer et exciser le tissu à prélever. En position fermée, la paire de mâchoires présente, dans l'alignement de la lumière centrale du corps souple, une ouverture permettant le passage des prélèvements de tissu. Un préhenseur, disposé dans la partie distale de la lumière centrale, peut pénétrer dans l'orifice proximal de la paire de mâchoires. Un actionneur de préhension, monté entre le bloc de commande et le préhenseur, amène le préhenseur à prendre un prélèvement de tissu et à le faire pénétrer dans la lumière du corps souple. Il est possible d'exciser d'autres échantillons de tissu au moyen des mâchoires et de faire pénétrer en série ces échantillons dans la lumière au moyen du préhenseur. La partie distale au moins du corps souple peut être transparente pour qu'on puisse voir les prélèvements effectués. Un déflecteur peut équiper le dispositif de façon à infléchir la région distale et l'amener devant l'objectif d'un endoscope pour qu'on puisse suivre de visu l'opération de préhension.
