Abstract

One apparatus, and method for removably holding an axle includes an axle attachment (10), the axle attachment removably attachable to an end of the axle, a shaft (24) coupled to the axle attachment, the shaft having threads (25), and a latch (30) that selecting engages the threads of the shaft. Another apparatus, and method for removably holding an axle includes an axle attachment (11), the axle attachment removably attachable to an end of the axle, a shaft (72) coupled to the axle attachment, the shaft having at least one first position holder (74), and a housing (84) around the shaft, the housing having at least one second position holder (92), the second position holder selecting mating with the first position holder.
