This is no problem in view of the very rapid switching times of existing circuits.

It is also possible however to make this known close to the signal generator so that a respondent can see for himself whether he has won immediately after playing the game.

  • a step (B) the results of the check in step (A) are subsequently stored in a database 19. It is then made known to the respondents during step (C) that the game is beginning. A signal is thus given during step (C), for instance by means of a lamp 18. It is of great importance that the time between steps (A) and (C) is kept as short as possible in order to prevent respondents who activate a signal generator during these steps from later being designated as winner.
  • step (D) After the starting signal given during step (C) a check is made in step (D) as to which signal generators are activated. In combination with the information from database 19 a check is then made during step (E) whether a new signal generator has been activated after the starting signal of step (C). If this is not the case, a check is again made during step (D) as to which signal generators are activated. Step (D) will thus be repeated at very short intervals (milliseconds) until it is determined during step (E) that a new signal generator has been activated. This newly activated signal generator is then outputted as winner (step (W)). This ends the game.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne un appareil permettant de déterminer un temps de réaction le plus rapide à partir d'une pluralité de temps de réponse de différents intervenants au moyen de générateurs de signaux disposés de préférence dans une salle de jeux électroniques. Cet appareil comprend plusieurs générateurs de signaux actionnés par les intervenants, un ordinateur central couplé à au moins un commutateur multiple, des connexions entre chacun des générateurs de signaux et le commutateur multiple, au moins une sortie de signal fournissant un signal de départ pour les intervenants, et au moins une sortie d'information fournissant l'identité du premier générateur de signal activé après un signal de départ. L'invention concerne également un jeu électronique conçu pour s'adapter à un tel appareil et un procédé permettant de déterminer un temps de réaction le plus rapide.
