Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft die Verwendung von anti-CD44 Antikörpern von sowohl des konstanten (sCD44) als auch des variablen Teils von CD44 (vCD44) für die Behandlung bestimmter Tumore und anderen Erkrankungen, die mit einer Entartung und Aktivierung von Langerhans-Zellen (LC) und dendritischen Zellen (DC) innerhalb eines Säugetierkörpers einschließlich des Menschen assoziiert sind, und zur Behandlung unerwünschter Immunreaktionen. Ein weiter Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung betrifft ein ex vivo Kulturverfahren zur Herstellung von dendritischen Zellen.
