Abstract

La présente invention concerne un appareil d'exercice destiné à l'exercice et la rééducation des membres d'un utilisateur. Cet appareil comporte un carter de la forme générale d'un tambour dans lequel est ménagée une sortie d'arbre d'une forme et de dimensions convenant au passage d'un arbre. Le carter comporte également une sortie de câble permettant de laisser filer un câble de l'intérieur du carter vers l'extérieur du carter. L'appareil comporte aussi un arbre reçu dans le carter au niveau du passage d'arbre, et une bobine cylindrique qui tient à l'intérieur du carter. La bobine renferme un ressort spirale dont une première extrémité est reliée à l'arbre, la seconde extrémité sortant par un orifice de la bobine. Le ressort spirale est conformé de façon à s'enrouler autour de l'arbre et de façon à assurer une torsion/tension contrôlée du ressort spirale. L'appareil est pourvu d'un câble dont une première extrémité est frappée sur la seconde extrémité du ressort spirale, la seconde extrémité du câble ressortant par la sortie de câble. Le câble est équipé d'une jonction et d'un bracelet permettant d'attacher le câble à des membres choisis de l'utilisateur et de l'en détacher. Pendant l'utilisation, le ressort spirale permet de débiter du câble hors du carter de façon à créer des résistances réglables indépendamment s'appliquant aux différents membres et autres groupes de muscles d'un utilisateur pendant l'exercice ou la rééducation.
