Abstract

L'invention porte sur un ensemble de transducteurs ultrasonores formant un réseau à déphasage, associé à un cathéter. Un embout placé sur le cathéter autour du réseau de transducteurs comporte une fenêtre acoustique ne focalisant pratiquement pas l'énergie des ultrasons la traversant. Cette non focalisation permet de choisir un rayon de courbure relativement petit pour la surface extérieure radiale de ladite fenêtre.
