Abstract

Un système permettant de communiquer des sensations comprend au moins un ordinateur, un ensemble de capteurs, qui détecte le contact d'un utilisateur et délivre des signaux de capteur, un ensemble d'actionneurs, qui délivre à un utilisateur des signaux de contact physiquement perceptibles, et une unité de commande, qui relie l'ensemble de capteurs et l'ensemble d'actionneurs à l'ordinateur. L'unité de commande convertit les signaux de capteur en signaux de contact pouvant être traités par l'ordinateur, qui indique au moins l'emplacement du/des capteurs touché(s), et convertit les signaux de contact reçus de l'ordinateur en signaux de commande destinés aux actionneurs qui sont présents à l'emplacement de l'ensemble d'actionneurs indiqué par les signaux de contact.
