Abstract

A device is disclosed for representing feelings, in particular likes and dislikes and the expression of opinions during public events, such as sports events, political rallies, concerts or the like. The device consists of a flexible presentation means (1) for displaying symbols, texts, images or the like, and of a handle (3). This device, which is easy and economic to produce, can be easily transported and used without bothering others. The flexible presentation device (1) is arranged on a winding roller (8) secured to the handle (3) and capable of rotating relative to the handle (3), and so the presentation means (1) can be unwound from the winding roller (8) whenever required, for example when the person wants to express his feelings, and can be wound up again for transport.

Device for displaying feelings.

The invention relates to a device for representing feelings, in particular affection and aversion and expressions of opinion at events, such as sporting events, political rallies, concerts or the like, consisting of a flexible presentation device arranged in a housing for arranging emblems, texts, drawings or the like.

At events, especially sporting events, political rallies, concerts or the like, the participating viewers want to express their sympathy and in part also their antipathy towards the performers, e.g. athletes, teams, politicians, interpreters from the music or show industry, etc. To this end, it is common for the participating spectators to wave flags or hold up banners on which either expressions of sympathy or expressions of antipathy are arranged. Such flags and banners are also suitable for being provided with emblems, texts, drawings or the like, which are, for example, the identification symbol of a soccer team, a music group or the like. The disadvantage of this known device is that it is usually very large, so that these devices impair other people's observation of the event, for example the football game or the concert. In addition, flags must be swung violently, for example, so that the emblems, texts and / or drawings arranged on the flexible presentation device can be clearly recognized. By waving such flags there is a not inconsiderable risk of injury to neighboring people. On the basis of this prior art, the object of the invention is to develop a generic device in such a way that it can be manufactured simply and inexpensively and can be used in such a way that it can be easily transported and used without impairing other people.

The solution to this problem provides that the flexible presentation device is arranged on a winding roller which is rotatably arranged in the housing relative to the housing, so that the presentation device, if required, i. H. at the desired manifestation of the feeling, can be unwound from the winding roll and can be wound up, for example, for transport, and that the housing has a handle device.

A device designed in this way has the particular advantage that it can be transported in a simple manner, since the presentation device is in particular automatically wound onto the winding roll. Only at the moment when the user wants to show his affection and / or aversion does he pull the presentation device off the winding roll. As a result, the emblems, texts and / or drawings arranged on the presentation device become visible. The user can then manipulate the presentation device in the desired manner, i.e. H. demonstrate.

In addition, this device can be produced in a simple and inexpensive manner and in particular offers protection for the presentation device during transport and when not in use.

According to a further feature of the invention it is provided that a handle is arranged on the presentation device. The winding roll is arranged in a housing having at least one opening gap, which housing is preferably formed in one piece with the handle device. This housing essentially covers the winding roll, so that only an opening gap is provided, through which the presentation device can be pulled out of the housing. This configuration has the particular advantage that the presentation device is completely covered by the housing in the state wound on the winding roll, so that damage and contamination of the presentation device can be avoided. There is also the advantage that the storage of the winding roll is not accessible from the outside, so that damage and manipulation of the winding roll storage are avoided and on the other hand the risk of injury to the user is reduced.

The winding roller is preferably connected at least at one of its ends to a force accumulator, preferably a spring, which can be tensioned when the presentation device is being unwound. This spring serves as a return device and can for example also be designed as an elastic band. By means of this return device, the presentation device is automatically wound onto the winding roll when the user releases the handle or the presentation device, so that the spring tensioned when the presentation device is pulled out or unwound relaxes. According to a further feature of the invention it is provided that the presentation device consists of a plastic film, paper or fabric. These materials are sufficiently flexible and can be easily wound on a winding roll. In addition, an emblem, texts, drawings or the like can be applied to these materials in a simple manner. The arrangement of emblems, texts, drawings or the like can either be done using conventional printing technology or directly by the user who writes or draws the desired utterance on the presentation device. Furthermore, there is the possibility that the emblems, texts, drawings or the like are woven or embroidered in the conventional manner in fabric panels.

In order to handle the device according to the invention in the form of a flag or flag, a further feature of the invention provides that the presentation device can be locked or locked in its developed position.

It is further provided that the presentation device has a width which corresponds essentially to a usual seat width. This configuration ensures that neighboring people in a sports stage, a concert hall or the like are not impaired or even injured by the device according to the invention. According to a further feature of the invention, it is provided that the housing has a presentation surface at least at one end, in particular for receiving a reduced image of the representation arranged on the presentation device. This configuration has in particular the advantage that the trade in such devices makes the recognition of the different representations on the presentation devices visually perceptible without the presentation device having to be handled.

In order to achieve the most uniform possible handling of the presentation device from the winding roll, it is further provided that the handle engages on the one hand in the upper and on the other in the lower third of the presentation device. As a result, the force required to unwind the presentation device is transmitted essentially in the region of the opposite ends of the winding roller, so that the moments transmitted to the ends of the winding roller and thus to the spring bearing are as small as possible.

According to a further feature of the invention it is provided that the handle has a material thickness which is greater than the space between the outer surface of the winding roll and the housing or a cover element at least partially surrounding the winding roll. This prevents the presentation device from being drawn too far into the housing, so that it is not possible to pull the presentation device out again or only after opening the housing. The handle thus serves as a braking device for the presentation device.

It is provided according to a further feature of the invention that the winding shaft is connected to a tone generator which is driven when the winding shaft rotates. This tone generator consequently emits one or more tones as soon as the presentation device is pulled out of the housing or unwound from the winding shaft. This creates a further possibility of representing feelings, here in an acoustic way. Preferably, the housing and / or the handle device made of a flexible and resilient foam aterial, in particular hard foam. This has the advantage of a simple and inexpensive manufacture of the device according to the invention, wherein the design of the housing and / or the handle device made of flexible foam material also avoids the risk that the device according to the invention is used as a firearm at sporting events, in particular at football games. A housing made of rigid foam can be produced in such a way that an endless strip of rigid foam, for example with a circular cross section, is steered into corresponding lengths.

So that the spectator can follow the sporting event or another event even when he has unwound the presentation device from the winding roll, it is provided that the presentation device is perforated. Accordingly, the presentation device has a plurality of holes, which are distributed evenly over the entire area of the presentation device, which on the one hand enable the viewer to see through the presentation device and on the other hand give the presentation device the possibility of emblem, name, Images or the like is provided.

The housing is preferably designed as a hollow cylindrical tube with an opening for receiving the winding roll. If the housing consists of a rigid foam, for example, the opening is cut out of the rigid foam cylinder in a second step before the winding roll is inserted into this opening. However, there is also the possibility that the hard foam housing with the opening is pulled so that the second step, namely the removal, cutting the core so that the opening is formed is avoided.

It is further provided that the housing has a substantially hemispherical end cap at both ends. This end cap prevents the ingress of moisture and dirt particles into the housing, so that both the presentation device and the winding roll with the mechanical elements associated with it are protected. The end caps also serve to complicate disassembly of the winding roll.

In this embodiment, it is preferably provided that the end caps are glued to the end face of the housing, so that disassembly of the winding roll is only possible when the device, in particular the housing, is destroyed.

According to a further feature of the invention it is provided that the transition from the end caps to the housing is covered with an adhesive strip having a presentation surface. This adhesive strip thus covers an obviously recognizable transition point that can lead to opening of the housing. At the same time, advertising for certain products or another presentation, for example the club name of the football club or the like, can be arranged on the adhesive strip.

The opening for receiving the winding roll is essentially circular in cross section, the opening being adjoined by a receiving opening which runs at an angle to the opening gap and has an essentially polygonal, in particular rectangular cross section. The opening, which is essentially circular in cross section, serves to receive the winding roll, which, however, generally has to be secured against rotation within the housing. For this purpose it is provided that the winding roll one has tangentially arranged web, which can be fixed in the polgonal, in particular rectangular receiving opening, so that when the presentation device is pulled out the winding roll is secured against rotation in the housing.

The presentation device can be constructed in several layers, in particular in two layers, the two layers being deflected at their end emerging from the housing via a rod-shaped element and overlapped by a protective element which is essentially C-shaped in cross section, this configuration has the advantage that not only the handle completely pulls the presentation device into the housing, but also the rod-shaped element with the C-shaped protective element prevents it. It is provided according to a further feature of the invention that the housing has a light source, in particular a flashing light, which is connected to an energy source arranged in the housing. The energy source can be designed here, for example, as a battery or accumulator. In this way, the device according to the invention can also be used impressively at evening and nightly events. It has proven advantageous to arrange the flashing light on the front of the housing. For example, the flashing light can be integrated into an end cap, it possibly being possible to detachably connect the end cap to the flashing light on the housing and below it End cap to provide the energy source so that after removal of the end cap, the energy source is accessible for replacement.
