Abstract

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Mikroorganismus, eine Verwendung dieses Mikroorganismus zur Erzeugung von Isopren sowie auf ein Verfahren zu seiner Herstellung. Mit Hilfe eines mit geeigneten Oligonukleotiden amplifizierten Genfragmentes wird das Isoprensynthasegen, beispielsweise der Stieleiche, identifiziert und in einen Mikroorganismus kloniert. Der Mikroorganismus, der ein Isoprensynthasegen enthält, wird kultiviert und das freigesetzte Isopren über fraktionierte Kühlung aus dem Gasraum über der Kultur abgetrennt.
