Abstract
L'invention concerne: des milieux exempts de sérum caractérisés par le fait qu'ils contiennent de l'insuline et de la peptone tout en étant pratiquement exempts d'albumine et de transferrine; une méthode de culture de cellules d'origine animale caractérisée par le fait que l'on fait croître les cellules dans les milieux susmentionnés; et un procédé de production de substances physiologiquement actives caractérisé en ce qu'on procède à la culture de cellules d'origine animale, pouvant produire lesdites substances, dans les milieux susmentionnés et que l'on récupère les substances ainsi produites dans les cultures. Les milieux exempts de sérum présentés permettent une prolifération suffisante des cellules, facilitent la récupération des substances physiologiquement actives dans les cultures, et ils sont rarement contaminés, permettant ainsi la mise en oeuvre de la méthode de culture et du procédé de production susmentionnés.
