Abstract

Procédé de fabrication d'objets creux ayant des formes complexes et des cavités internes élaborées ainsi que des canaux afin de réduire le poids et/ou de les destiner à des systèmes de refroidissement extrêmement efficaces par exemple des aubes de turbine à gaz, des systèmes optiques à laser puissant, des chambres de combustion, etc. Le procédé en soi comprend la préparation de la structure pour lui donner la résistance de construction désirée avec des rainures et/ou des poches à la surface qui correspondent aux dimensions internes du produit métallique fini; le remplissage des rainures et des poches avec un matériau que l'on peut enlever aisément; la formation d'une enveloppe de revêtement externe multicouche d'une épaisseur voulue à l'aide d'un procédé à rayon cathodique avec atomisation préliminaire de la structure d'une fine couche d'un matériau ou métal pouvant fondre facilement et apte à avoir une faible température eutectique avec le matériau atomisé de l'enveloppe externe; le traitement thermoplastique ultérieur afin d'obtenir une enveloppe ayant une structure donnée stable et homogène et une composition multicouche ou variant graduellement; l'élimination du matériau de remplissage par sublimation lors du traitement thermique. Des chlorures, fluorures et/ou leurs mélanges peuvent être utilisés comme matériaux s'éliminant aisément. On peut ajouter des additifs actifs et inactifs afin d'améliorer les propriétés mécaniques et thermiques des mélanges et modifier la structure et les propriétés des surfaces internes avec le processus d'atomisation et le traitement thermoplastique.
