Abstract
Techniques et compositions pour la cryoconservation de cellules somatiques. Dans une réalisation, un milieu de cryoconservation cellulaire comprend une quantité efficace d'arabinogalactane qui maintient la viabilité des cellules en cours de congélation, de stockage et de décongélation. Les cellules peuvent être refroidies ou congelées à des températures à peu près égales ou inférieures à 4 °C, par exemple à -196 °C environ. Dans une réalisation privilégiée, le milieu de cryoconservation contient de l'arabinogalactane ultraraffiné, éventuellement en association avec un deuxième agent de cryoconservation, comme du sulfoxyde de diméthyle. Le milieu peut être utilisé pour la cryoconservation d'une grande variété de types de cellules provenant de différentes sources. Il permet par exemple la cryoconservation de cellules de mammifères, notamment porcins, canins, humains, chevalins, rongeurs et bovins. La présence d'arabinogalactane dans le milieu protège la viabilité des cellules plongées dans celui-ci en cours de congélation, de stockage et de décongélation.
