Abstract

Beschrieben wird eine Zange zum bipolaren Koagulieren von biologischem Gewebe mit einem Zangenmaulteil, durch das der zum Koagulieren benötigte Strom fließt, und das mittels proximal angeordneter Handgriffe geöffnet und geschlossen werden kann. Die erfindungsgemäße Zange gemäß einer ersten Ausführungsform zeichnet sich dadurch aus, daß das Zangenmaulteil vier einander paarweise derart zugeordnete Maulteile aufweist, daß zwei nebeneinanderliegende Zangenmäuler gebildet werden, zwischen denen der Strom fließt. Gemäß einer zweiten Ausführungsform weisen das oder die Zangenmäuler alternativ oder zusätzlich auf ihrer Innenseite Erhebungen auf, die komplementär zu den Erhebungen des gegenüberliegenden Zangenmaulteils angeordnet sind. Dabei ist es insbesondere möglich, nur ein Zangenmaul vorzusehen, so daß der Strom zwischen den Maulteilen dieses Zangenmauls fließt.
