Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Gefäß für metallurgische Zwecke zum Transport von schmelzflüssigen Metallen mit einem die hitzebeständige Auskleidung aufnehmenden, aus einzelnen rohrförmigen Schüssen zusammengesetzten Metallmantel, der zwei in Umfangsrichtung verlaufende Versteifungsringe aufweist und mit zwei Gefäßtragzapfen, die an der Außenseite des Metallmantels gegenüberliegend durch je eine mit dem Versteifungsring verbundene Platte abgestützt sind. Damit ein solches Gefäß bei kombinierter Belastung von Last und Wärme gleichmäßig beansprucht wird und einer Eigentemperatur bis zu 400 °C widerstehen kann und außerdem unter allen Betriebszuständen die Schlaufen für die Kranhaken senkrecht bleiben, wird erfindungsgemäß vorgeschlagen, daß die Versteifungsringe (6-8) integrierter Bestandteil des Metallmantels (3-5) sind und der Mittelbereich der Platte (10, 10') einen geringen Abstand zum Metallmantel aufweist und der obere und untere krempenartig ausgebildete Randbereich (11, 12) der Platte (10, 10') mit den benachbart liegenden Versteifungsringen (6, 7) verbunden, vorzugsweise verschweißt ist und der Gefäßtragzapfen (9, 9') sich von der Platte (10, 10') aus nur nach außen erstreckt, wobei je nach Größe der axialen Erstreckung des Gefäßes (1) mehr als zwei Versteifungsringe (6-8) vorgesehen sind.
