Description

Dosiervorrichtung Dosing device
The present invention relates to a metering device for metering preferably liquid detergent from a storage container into a mixing room, in particular a washing machine tub.
In conventional washing machines, a detergent e.g. in liquid form from a storage container, e.g. a detergent dispenser into the wash liquor. The detergent is dosed beforehand by pouring a certain amount of liquid detergent into the dispenser drawer and cannot be adapted to the amount of detergent actually required during washing. If too much detergent is used, some of the excess detergent ends up in e.g. Textiles, with which skin irritation and deterioration of the textiles can be connected, and the other part into the waste water and pollutes the environment. If the amount of detergent selected is too small, the textiles will be cleaned insufficiently.
The present invention is therefore based on the object of making available a metering direction by means of which automatic detergent metering, which is dependent on the amount and degree of soiling of the laundry, is made possible. According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the metering device comprises the components in a liquid-tight housing which can be introduced into a washing liquor:
- den Vorratsbehalter;- the storage container;
- eine dem Vorratsbehalter zugeordnete Dosiereinrichtung;- A metering device assigned to the storage container;
- eine Sensoreinrichtung zur Bestimmung der Waschmittel- konzentration in der Waschflotte;- A sensor device for determining the detergent concentration in the wash liquor;
- eine der Sensoreinrichtung nachgeschaltete Regeleinrich¬ tung für die Waschmittelkonzentration; unda control device for the detergent concentration downstream of the sensor device; and
It can be provided that the metering device comprises a valve.
It can also be provided that the metering device comprises a pump.
In a special embodiment of the invention it can be provided that the sensor device comprises a sensor for measuring the pH value of the wash liquor.
The sensor device advantageously additionally comprises a sensor for measuring the conductivity of the washing liquor.
In a particularly preferred embodiment, the sensor device additionally comprises a sensor for measuring the temperature of the wash liquor.
It can also be provided that the sensor device comprises a sensor for measuring the concentration of a substance present in the detergent introduced into the washing liquor. The control device preferably comprises an electrically operated measurement value amplifier and a comparator for an actual-target comparison.
Günstigerweise umfaßt die Energieversorgungseinrichtung mindestens eine Batterie.The energy supply device advantageously comprises at least one battery.
Furthermore, it can be provided that the energy supply device comprises at least one thermocouple for energy supply.
In addition, it can be provided that the energy supply device comprises a mechanical swing armature generator.
It can also be provided that the metering device comprises a device for determining the water hardness.
Finally, it can be provided that the housing has a spherical shape.
The invention is based on the surprising finding that, by the arrangement and connection of a sensor device with a control device and a metering device according to the invention, a compact metering device is achieved with which the detergent concentration can be determined directly in a mixing room or in the area thereof and as a function thereof Value can be added to the detergent. Since the metering device in the wash liquor is both moved mechanically and is generally heated, it is also possible, by using a thermocouple or the like or a mechanical flywheel armature generator, to achieve a power supply of its own, ie without using batteries. A sensor device with sensors for combined measurement of the pH value, conductivity and temperature of the washing liquor offers particularly good control options, since both the pH value and the conductivity depend relatively strongly on the surfactant content and therefore taking the temperature into account Determination of the detergent concentration are particularly suitable.
When using a device for determining the water hardness, it is also possible to take into account a basic need for more or less detergent due to a high or low water hardness.
If a special detergent is used which contains a pilot substance (indicator), the detergent concentration can be measured continuously via its concentration in the washing liquor.
Further features and advantages of the invention result from the following description, in which an exemplary embodiment is explained in detail with reference to the schematic drawing.
The figure shows an embodiment of the metering device according to the invention. The metering device 10 has a spherical housing 12 made of plastic. The housing 12 has a screw cap 26 for filling detergent into a storage container 14 and a valve device 16 as a metering device for the detergent. Furthermore, the housing 12 has a recess for a pH value measuring electrode 18 and a screwable compartment for a battery 24 for energy supply. The pH value measuring electrode 18 serves to determine the detergent concentration indirectly via the pH of the wash liquor. All elements (26, 18, 24) are arranged such that they do not protrude beyond the circumferential contour of the housing 12. In addition to the energy supply device 24 there is a control device 22 which comprises an electrically operated measuring value amplifier and comparator for the actual-target comparison and controls the valve 16 in order to ensure that the detergent is only in dosed form depending on the condition of the pH measuring electrode 18 measured pH of the wash liquor is released into the wash liquor, so that overall the pH of the wash liquor can be kept at a predetermined target value. If the pH value (actual value) of the washing liquor measured by the pH measuring electrode 18 drops in the direction of the acidic range, for example if too little detergent is available for a certain proportion of dirt due to the items to be washed, then The valve 16 is opened via the control device 22 and further detergent enters the wash liquor.
The "dosing ball" 10 is filled with detergent before a respective wash cycle, if necessary, and is preferably placed in a washing machine tub. In order to take the water hardness into account when dosing detergent, the dosing device 10 can additionally have a device for determining the water hardness (not shown).
The features of the invention disclosed in the above description, in the drawing and in the claims can be essential both individually and in any combination for realizing the invention in its various embodiments.
