Definitions

  • the present invention relates to an arrangement for an insect trap which has an adhesive for trapping insects and a gluing agent for gluing the trap to the intended surface, in conjunction with which the trapping adhesive and the gluing agent are on the same side of the trap, which consists of a single flat piece of material, preferably cardboard.
  • the trap is provided along at least one lateral edge with a folding mark intended to form a folding distance piece on one side of said folding mark and a trap part on the other side of it intended to form a trap which permits insects to enter beneath the enclosing, cover-like trap formed in this way between the outward-folded distance piece (s), which is in contact with and supported against a window, for example, to which the trap is glued, and the trap part provided with trapping adhesive.

  • the trap 1 consists of a single flat piece of material, preferably cardboard, although plastic material or some other material or a combination thereof is also possible. Said piece of material is at least provided with a folding mark 7 extending along at least one lateral edge 8 to form a folding distance piece 9 on one side B of said folding mark 7 at an angle with the trap 1, so that the trapping part is inclined in relation to a window, etc., on which the trap 1 is set up.

  • Trapping adhesive 2 preferably covers essentially the entire surface 12 between said folding mark 7 and gluing agent 4 intended for setting up the trap 1 , for example on a window 13.

  • the piece of material 211 exhibits a flared form in the direction from a top part 276 to a base part 275.
  • Folding marks 277, 278 extend from one lateral edge 279 of the piece of material to a point 280, 281 which is situated slightly retracted from an opposing side edge 282, where an area of gluing agent 204 is situated, bordering on said retracted folding mark end points 280, 281.
  • the side flaps 284, 285 with their inclined sides 283 form distance pieces in this trap 201.
  • Fig. 9 shows how the trap 1, 201 can be made, for example from a web of material in the form of a roll 300, for example a web of cardboard 301, by causing an aforementioned web 301 to be stamped and bent, which web is preferably capable of being gathered in the form of a roll as shown. It is thus possible to produce said trap either cross ⁇ wise or along said web of material.
  • a web of material gathered into a roll may be provided with a longitudinal bending line or bending lines and a gluing agent and trapping adhesive with a protective layer, which means that only stamping or some other form of cutting of the individual traps is required after unrolling.
  • Trapping adhesive 4 and gluing agent 2 and a protective layer 15, 16 are applied to these on the same web 301 before or after said web processing by the stamping and bending method.
