Abstract

A hand-held radiotelephone (1) has control elements such as a keyboard (2) and a display field (3). A movable covering element (6) that protects one or several control elements when the hand-held radiotelephone (1) is not in use may be closed over the parts that need to be protected in a water-tight manner. In one preferred embodiment, the printed circuit board with the electronic circuits is sealed in the housing with plastic foam.
