Abstract
The invention proposes a method for achieving chemical, in particular biochemical reactions in a reaction liquid (168) using a pipette tip (114) of a pipetting device, by means of which the reaction liquid (168) is picked up by a suction opening (126) in the pipette tip (114) and transferred to a reaction chamber (149) in a reaction liquid receiving unit (112). At least one part or part of the component of the reaction liquid (168) is transferred to the reaction chamber (149) using the pipette tip (114). To seal the reaction chamber (149), an opening in the reaction chamber is sealed by means of the pipette tip (114), whereby the suction opening (126) of the pipette tip lies inside the reaction chamber (149). The reaction takes place inside the reaction chamber (149).

Beim Gegenstand des hiermit vorgelegten Anspruchs 1 hingegen wird durch die in die Reaktionsraum-Öffnung eingesetzte und mit einem Pipettierkolben versehene Pipettierspitze ein vollständig luftdichter Abschluß des Reaktionsraums erreicht. Die Pipettierspitze muß somit zur vollständigen Abdichtung des Reaktionsraums nicht aus der Reaktionsraum-Öffnung herausgezogen werden und nach Ablauf der Reaktion, falls dann eine Reaktionsflüssigkeitsentnahme gewünscht ist, wieder in den Gummipfropfen eingesteckt werden. (Bei erhöhter Kontaminationsgefahr müßte man für diese Reaktionsflüssigkeitsentnahme eine frische Pipette verwenden.)
