Abstract
Une vis creuse (1) comporte une partie (3) située côté patient et faisant ressort dans le sens radial, grâce à des fentes longitudinales (6), qui présente des surfaces d'appui (4) dirigées vers l'extérieur perpendiculairement au sens longitudinal. La vis creuse (1) est traversée par un manchon d'expansion (10) pouvant être enfoncé ou vissé dans ladite vis creuse (1) et qui écarte la partie (3) faisant ressort conjointement avec les surfaces d'appui (4). Ces dernières (4) viennent de ce fait s'appliquer sur la surface intérieure de la calotte crânienne, à la manière d'une pièce d'ancrage écarteuse. Un contre-écrou (20) permet ensuite de serrer les os de la boîte crânienne entre les surfaces d'appui (4) et ledit contre-écrou (20). Côté appareil, le manchon d'expansion (10) est muni d'un élément d'accouplement à usage médical (12). Cette vis de sonde de mesure de la pression cérébrale permet d'exclure dans une large mesure des manipulations erronées et permet également de parvenir à un positionnement fiable, indépendamment de l'épaisseur des os de la boîte crânienne.
