  • the two mixtures are slowly combined and mixed with a high speed dispersator type mixer.
  • the heat source is removed and the mixing is continued until the temperature of said combined mixture is from about 65°C- 70°C.
  • Q.S. said combined mixture for any water loss.
  • the preservatives and insoluble polymer component are added and mixed until homogeneous.
  • Said combined mixture is cooled to about 45°C-47°C and any remaining components are added. Cooling and mixing is continued until said combined mixture is about 27°C to about 30°C.
  • Said combined mixture is transfered to suitable storage containers for subsequent filling of retail size packaging.

Abstract

Compositions cosmétiques de maquillage comprenant un polymère insoluble dans une émulsion aqueuse et un copolyol alkyl-diméthicone ou alcoxy-diméthicone de formule générale (I) où X est un atome d'hydrogène ou un radical alkyle, alcoxy ou acyle comportant de 1 à 16 atomes de carbone, Y est un radical alcoxy ou alkyle comportant de 8 à 22 atomes de carbone, n vaut d'environ 0 à environ 200, m vaut d'environ 1 à environ 40, q vaut d'environ 1 à environ 100, le poids moléculaire du résidu (C2H4O-)x(C3H6O-)yX étant compris entre environ 250 et environ 2 000, x et y étant choisis de manière à ce que le rapport de poids des groupes oxyéthylène/oxypropylène soit compris entre environ 100:0 et environ 20:80. Ces compositions présentent une résistance améliorée à l'usure et à l'eau et s'enlèvent à l'eau et au savon.
