Abstract
La présente invention concerne des compositions à libération contrôlée comprenant des complexes pour le traitement d'une population d'un ou plusieurs organismes aquatiques dans une colonne d'eau. Ces complexes contiennent au moins un système, lequel comprend au moins un agent bioactif comme composant choisi pour traiter une population d'organismes aquatiques, au moins un composant vecteur et au moins un composant de revêtement pour régulariser la libération contrôlée et le profil de libération de l'agent bioactif dans l'eau ou au moins un agent bioactif et un composant à fonction mixte, qui peut faire office aussi bien de vecteur que de revêtement pour régulariser la libération contrôlée et le profil de libération de l'agent bioactif dans l'eau, avec ou sans composant fixateur optionnel et/ou matériaux de formulation supplémentaire. Les composants sont choisis de manière à couler ou à flotter de sorte que les complexes passeront au travers et/ou resteront dans tout segment plan ou volumétrique d'une colonne d'eau pendant une période suffisamment longue pour traiter efficacement une population d'organismes aquatiques. La présente invention concerne aussi des techniques de traitement d'une colonne d'eau qui consistent à libérer lesdites compositions dans ladite colonne d'eau ou dans une zone asséchée après avoir été recouverte d'eau (prétraitement) et qui se transformera en colonne d'eau ou en zone inondée. La composition et le procédé peuvent également servir à traiter des organismes terrestres.
