Abstract

Cette invention concerne le domaine des sciences médicales, notamment celui de l'oncologie. Le dispositif de traitement de tumeurs malignes par hyperthermie locale comprend un générateur (1) de courant à haute fréquence, des électrodes en forme d'aiguilles (3) connectées audit générateur et destinées à être implantées dans la région de la tumeur maligne, ainsi que des capteurs de température (5) de la tumeur maligne et de sa région. Ce dispositif est caractérisé en ce que les électrodes en forme d'aiguilles (3) sont connectées au générateur de courant à haute fréquence (1) par l'intermédiaire d'un répartiteur (2) comprenant au moins trois bobines de contact (9). Chacune de ces bobines (9) comporte deux sorties (10, 11) auxquelles les électrodes en forme d'aiguilles (3) sont connectées de la manière suivante: à l'une des sorties (11) de chaque bobine (9) est connectée une électrode en forme d'aiguilles (3), tandis qu'à l'autre sortie (10) de chaque bobine (9) est connecté un groupe d'au moins deux électrodes en forme d'aiguilles (3). Un dispositif (14) permet également de créer, dans la région de la tumeur maligne, une zone de résistance spécifique réduite par rapport au fluide interstitiel se trouvant dans cette même région.
