Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif (1) permettant de sécher des produits posés sur une bande convoyeuse (2) en mouvement, notamment des couches de colle d'enveloppes gommées, au moyen d'air chaud. Ce dispositif comprend un châssis (3) placé à distance constante de la bande convoyeuse (2), présentant un tablier (4) sur ses deux côtés longitudinaux, ainsi qu'un canal de séchage (niveau III) formé par un fond (23) du châssis (3), le tablier (4) et la bande convoyeuse (2). Un flux d'air de séchage est acheminé à contre courant du sens de transport (X) de la bande convoyeuse (2). Ce dispositif permet de renoncer, du moins en grande partie, à un préchauffage externe de l'air et d'effectuer le séchage à basse température, avec une consommation d'énergie plus faible et un flux d'air constant. A cet effet, le châssis (3) est conçu sous forme d'un échangeur de chaleur présentant au moins deux niveaux (I, II; III) parcourus par le flux d'air de séchage. Une arrivée de gaz (6) est affectée à l'un des niveaux, près de l'extrémité d'une face (5 ou 7) du châssis et une sortie de gaz (8) est affectée à un autre niveau, à une extrémité de la face (5, 7). Des éléments servant à l'échange de chaleur sont situés le long des niveaux, et des éléments servant à dévier le flux d'un niveau à l'autre sont situés au moins près de l'extrémité d'une face (5, 7) du châssis.
