  • An embodiment which limits noise and increases efficiency is that in which the end zones of the blades connect smoothly onto the inner surface of the ring.

Space saving is achieved by using two free-turning deflecting rollers 19,20 whereby the toothed belt engages in substantially horizontal direction on both the upper part and the lower part of the rotors.

  • the surfaces 39 and 40 mutually overlap. Protruding beyond the overlap zone 43 is that skin part which connects onto the convex surface 39.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un ventilateur qui comprend: un moyeu central; une pluralité de pales rattachées à ce moyeu et s'étendant au moins dans une direction relativement radiale; la forme de ces pales est telle que leur rotation autour de l'axe du moyeu entraîne un déplacement d'air; et un système d'entraînement pour mettre en rotation les pales avec le moyeu autour de l'axe du moyeu. Pour le ventilateur décrit, l'invention prévoit un dispositif selon lequel les pales sont reliées entre elles à leur extrémité par un anneau supporté rotatif dans un boîtier; et le système d'entraînement comprend un moteur placé à une certaine distance du moyeu, en dehors de l'écoulement d'air engendré par les pales en rotation.
