  • DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT In Figure 1 there is shown a tube 10 after a first hit impaction which maintains the original outside diameter of the tube 10, and coaxially constricts the inside diameter and thickens the wall 12 as required.

Abstract

L'invention se rapporte à un ensemble unitaire de tube (10) et à un raccord terminal (16), le raccord terminal (16) pouvant être tout raccord approprié à l'application terminale comportant un alésage tubulaire. Une transition inclinée (20) est ménagée de manière coaxiale dans l'alésage (28) à l'intervalle approprié où l'alésage se rétrécit. L'extrémité du tube (10) est coincée coaxialement, dilatée et dimensionnée par rapport à une configuration externe et prend une dimension de façon à former un joint d'ajustement serré par rapport à l'alésage tubulaire (28) traversant le raccord terminal (16). L'extrémité non dilatée du tube (10) est insérée dans l'alésage le plus grand (28) du raccord terminal (16) au-delà de toutes transitions et passe dans l'alésage le plus petit jusqu'à ce qu'il y ait obstacle à cause de la dilatation. On élimine l'obstacle en comprimant la partie dilatée dans l'alésage (28) du raccord terminal (16) jusqu'à ce que la partie dilatée s'adapte totalement dans le raccord terminal (16). L'ensemble tube dilaté et raccord terminal est usiné coaxialement au moyen d'un outil coupant étagé. L'outil coupant étagé usine le diamètre intérieur du tube là où il a été réduit au cours du formage terminal, emboutit le tube dilaté dans l'alésage du raccord terminal, usine la partie plate pilote femelle, la surface d'étanchéité ainsi que la ligne de séparation visible se trouvant entre le tube et le raccord terminal (16).
