Abstract

Dans l'industrie sucrière, le séchage des pulpes s'effectue notamment dans des tambours rotatifs chauffés par un brûleur. La conduite du processus pose alors un certain nombre de problèmes en ce qui concerne l'humidité des pulpes et les variations de puissance du brûleur. Selon l'invention, la conduite du processus se caractérise par l'utilisation de la logique floue. Les grandeurs d'entrée lors du séchage des pulpes sont utilisées conjointement avec les valeurs empiriques de l'opérateur de l'installation pour mettre en place des règles de logique floue. Dans le système associé, une unité à logique floue (20) pourvue d'une pluralité d'entrée (21 à 26) et d'une sortie (28) pour fournir un signal de commande au régulateur (30) est montée en amont du régulateur combiné (30).
