Abstract
L'invention a trait à la technique de l'ordinateur et est destinée à être utilisée dans la synthèse numérique optimale ainsi que la reproduction d'une image, du son qui l'accompagne ainsi que d'autres signaux, afin de faciliter l'enregistrement desdits signaux sur un support ou leur affichage sur un écran. Le procédé proposé augmente la vitesse opérationnelle et réduit au minimum le coût du matériel utilisé dans son application. Il consiste en la régénération continue d'un ensemble de pixels formant une séquence d'images donnée, à l'aide de processeurs identiques dont le nombre n est dérivé de la formule citée, dans laquelle k représente le nombre d'images par seconde, p représente le nombre de pixels par image, t0 représente le temps de traitement nécessaire à un processeur pour régénérer un pixel, C0 représente le coût des composants du circuit utilisés collectivement, et C1 représente le coût d'un processeur et du matériel qui lui est associé. Un exemple de l'application de ce procédé utilise un dispositif ayant comme base le principe du traitement parallèle des données d'entrée lors du traitement de pixels, et comprend une mémoire externe, un dispositif de commande, un commutateur d'entrée, des commutateurs de canaux dotés d'interrupteurs, deux mémoires tampon, des processeurs identiques ainsi qu'une mémoire d'écran.
