Abstract
L'invention concerne une palette (1) conçue pour ne s'utiliser qu'une seule fois et fabriquée en carton recyclable. Cette palette comprend des traverses parallèles (4) constituées de pièces d'âme (2) tubulaires en carton entourées par du carton ondulé (3) et s'étendant perpendiculairement à l'axe du plan de la palette, ainsi qu'au moins un élément portant contre lesdites traverses, tel qu'une plaque inférieure (6) et/ou une plaque supérieure (5), afin de les relier les unes aux autres. Il est indispensable que chaque traverse (4) comporte entre les pièces d'âme (2) en carton et la couche en carton ondulé (3), une plaque inférieure et rigide de support (9) en carton collé et comprimé et, éventuellement, une deuxième plaque inférieure de support (13) en carton d'un type similaire, de façon que la couche en carton ondulé se trouve entre lesdites plaques de support. Cette couche (3) en carton ondulé et les plaques de support (9, 13) constituent une structure de type sandwich absorbant les contraintes de flexion s'exerçant sur la palette. Chaque traverse (4) peut comporter, entre ses pièces d'âme (2), des ouvertures (7) servant à introduire une fourche de chariot élévateur ou autre dispositif de levage qui déplace la palette.
