  • a preferred ratio, in weight, of talcum, starch and active carbon is 84:14:2 respectively.
  • a homogeneous mixture (1:1) of starch and active carbon is formed and treated in humidity room at 70 Celsius degree for 15 minutes; then the remaining starch is added to the mixture, to reach the above mentioned ratio, according to the method of geometrical dilutions. Further, the mixture is heated in oven at 80 Celsius degree for 10 minutes, with the effect to swell the starch particles and improve their link with the active carbon. The obtained mixture is then integrated with talcum.

Abstract

Une préparation destinée à des usages cosmétiques ou pharmaceutiques comprend du charbon actif (1) sous forme granulée, mélangé avec du talc (2) et de l'amidon (3) également granulés. Les granulés de talc (2) et d'amidon (3) sont de plus petites dimensions que les granulés de charbon actif (1) et définissent une couche intermédiaire entre le charbon actif (1) et la surface (4) à traiter, par exemple la peau du corps humain. La préparation a un très grand pouvoir adsorbant (environ mille fois celui du talc) qui s'ajoute à ses caractéristiques d'absorption optimales. Utilisée comme déodorant, elle ne couvre pas les odeurs mais absorbe et élimine les bactéries qui sont la cause de ces odeurs, ce qui rend superflue l'application de bactéricide sur la peau.
