Abstract

Etant donné que l'environnement des communications devient de plus en plus complexe, il est important de pouvoir convertir de façon souple des événements taxables en valeurs facturables. En particulier, il est important que les installations destinées à établir les prix et taxes des communications, disponibles pour les opérateurs de réseau ou les prestataires de services, puissent prendre en compte des facteurs, tels que des taxes, qui affectent la valeur facturable et qui peuvent être mis en place de différentes façons et à des moments variables en fonction d'exercices informatiques de traitement à effectuer. L'invention concerne donc un système qui peut être utilisé pour produire des factures par application de facteurs de modification, lesquels peuvent être changés ou ajoutés de manière relativement facile. Un mode de réalisation préféré de l'invention concerne un préprocesseur orienté objet destiné à un système d'héritage, ce préprocesseur pouvant être utilisé en conception puis attaché. Des programmes mis en oeuvre dans un environnement orienté objet sont convertis en instructions pouvant être mises en application par un dispositif de traitement à base procédurale. Une hiérarchie d'activité de fonctions ainsi qu'un domaine de données sont créés pour chaque objet, et un programme d'appel principal précise la relation existant entre les programmes et les domaines de données de façon à retenir l'encapsulage de la définition originale orientée objet. Cet aspect de l'invention est particulièrement utile pour développer de nouveaux systèmes dans un environnement orienté objet qui peut être ensuite attaché à des systèmes à base procédurale existants.
