If desired, the same control function can also be included in the terminal receiving the pay- ment. Unauthorized use of prepaid cards can thus be prevented.

Abstract

L'invention porte sur un système électronique de contrôle destiné en particulier aux cartes prépayées. Le système objet de l'invention comprend une carte prépayée munie de moyens logiques gérant le solde et l'actualisant lors de chaque transaction, ainsi qu'un dispositif de contrôle (1) recevant la carte prépayée et communiquant avec elle, le solde actuel de la carte, lu par le dispositif, pouvant être vérifié sur l'écran (2) dudit dispositif.
