Abstract
The invention concerns a pharmaceutical preparation containing repellents and can be used to combat pediculosis, that is to say, lice and nits on the human body. The agent proposed contains (in per cent by wt.): benzyl benzoate 20, household or potash soap 1.0, an esterification product of polyglycerine and stearic acid 1.0, water 78. The novelty lies in the additional introduction into the known preparation of an esterification product of polyglycerine and stearic acid with the components in the proportions indicated; the emulsifier T-2 can be chosen as the esterification product. The anti-lice agent proposed remains stable and effective against lice over a prolonged period, which facilitates industrial producion and sale of the agent.
