Abstract

Dispositif permettant l'insémination artificielle des truies. Il est constitué d'un élément principal (3) doté de deux pièces recourbées (4, 5) servant à fixer le dispositif autour du dos et des flancs d'une truie (7). L'une des extrémités de l'élément principal est pourvue d'un support pour un tube (6) contenant du sperme. Pendant l'utilisation du dispositif, la pièce recourbée (5) et l'élément principal (3) stimulent la truie (7) à la manière du verrat. De ce fait, la truie (7) se tient immobile, le dos cambré, pendant le processus d'insémination. Ainsi, on arrive, grâce à ce dispositif, à réduire sensiblement le travail manuel.
