Abstract

Appareil (16) et procédé d'analyse d'un ou de plusieurs gaz dans une zone cible (10). Une source de lumière infrarouge modulée (40) produit un faisceau infrarouge (20) pouvant être absorbé à différentes longueurs d'ondes par les gaz analysés. Un montage optique (30) transmet le faisceau infrarouge (20) émanant de la source de lumière (40) selon une première trajectoire (22) traversant la zone cible (10) où un élément réfléchissant (26) est positionné afin de renvoyer le faisceau infrarouge qui suit la première trajectoire pour revenir au montage optique (30). On peut déterminer les gaz présents ainsi que leur concentration dans la zone cible (10) sur la base du spectre d'absorption du faisceau reçu (28).
