Abstract

On produit des fibres recouvertes de métal en débobinant un rouleau de film polymère orienté de manière uniaxe, en métallisant le film, en l'enroulant puis en déroulant le rouleau de film métallisé obtenu dans une zone de fibrillation dans laquelle le film est déformé et coupé de manière à produire un réseau fibrillaire qu'on peut ensuite ouvrir par cardage ou autre. Le matériau résultant comporte des fibrilles de denier compris entre 1 et 50 présentant chacune des surfaces plates parallèles, dont au moins une peut être métallisée, et dont l'épaisseur et la largeur varient entre 5 et 100 microns, la largeur moyenne ne devant pas excéder quatre fois l'épaisseur.
